We test all units for remote operation before leaving our facility after a repair.
If you did not send in your remote with the inverter, we cannot confirm whether or not the remote is faulty. Since we test the units for remote operation upon leaving, we can only assume that the inverter is working correctly and the remote or the cord are faulty.
Before returning the unit to us for additional testing, we suggest that you try installing a new remote panel and cord. Many clients choose to replace the remote and not the cable and find that this solves the problem. If you purchase a new remote and it still doesn't work, replace the cable. If you get no remote operation upon replacing both the panel and cord, please call us for technical support.
