It's rare but it happens, inverters can get damaged in shipping. All shipments from Tekris Power are insured for the purchase price. If you receive your inverter damaged, we will file a claim with UPS. They will either inspect or pick up the package and then determine if the unit can be repaired or replaced. Unfortunately, until the UPS claims processes the claim payment, Tekris Power cannot ship a second unit without a credit card hold of the purchase price.
As always, we are willing to work with our customers in exceptional situations to provide them with the power they need in a reasonable time frame. If your shipment arrives damaged, call us and we will work with you and UPS to resolve the issue.
